Week 6 – Wildlife

So it’s Wildlife week – easy I thought; just go down to the river valley early in the morning where we normally see our local herd of mule deer and snap away. Not so today! No deer to be seen, not even a bird to be found anywhere. After a nice walk in the stillness of the cold morning I decided to try another location near our library – again no deer, but I managed to find a woodpecker or two, plus a flock of birds flying by. So I drove home, hoping that I could somehow transform these into something presentable, when I spotted some mule deer sitting in someones front yard under their big pine tree. Guess I’ll be going there first next time I need some photos of deer!
