Frosty Morning

The past weekend we had perfect conditions for a hoar frost in the morning; a very foggy night with frigid temperatures. The morning turned out to be sunny with beautiful frost all around us. Unlike the last time I photographed hoar frost I actually waited until the sun was well and truly risen, making for much better conditions for my fingers and the camera.

Here are my favourite photos from that morning; hope you enjoy.

  1. So pretty Simone! I like the row of trees and the way the sun lights the frost on the fence! They are really all lovely. I have never seen this type of frost so love seeing your images from this post and the past one.
