Reflections of a bridge

If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I love to go to our local zoo, not just for the animal photography opportunities, but for the plants and features around the zoo grounds.

One of my favourite non-animal subjects at the zoo is this wooden foot bridge, which crosses this small artificial body of water (I can’t give it the grand title of river, as it really is just a small pond that flows under the bridge into another smaller pond). The bridge, as most things outside, changes with the seasons, and during the cold months the bleak trees behind it give it a more austere feel to it. Thankfully we are experiencing a very mild winter, so I was able to get a good reflection of the water, as it is no longer fully frozen.
